norse store & SNS sale selections

over 50% off from over the atlantic

wrapping up the summer season, the online mega-retailers are starting to cut back on their semi-annual sales. luckily, brick and mortar locations don’t play by the rules of the ssense sale cycle

from copenhagen, the norse store, parent store of the brand norse projects, offers a solid selection of sale items nearly year-round (discounted prices typically remain even after the sale ends). it’s also a great store to visit if you have a trip planned or just need a reason to book that flight

- happy danish people -

most of their sale selection from the online shop is at 50% for their mid-season sale, but for some items the euro retail price is lower after the adjustment to usd, so the total discounts can be 60-70% off with no added VAT

here are a few selections of pieces I personally wouldn’t hesitate to ship stateside, but you can visit the sale in its entirety here

norse store sale selections

71 - Gel Kayano 14 (8 -10.5)

34 - Club C (8 - 11.5)

611 - Junya Backpack Jacket (S)

163 - Gramicci F/CE (S - M)

181 - Danner Crest GTX (8.5 - 11.5)

45 - Carhartt Simple Pant (28 - 34)

sneakersnstuff, with locations primarily based in europe + a few stateside, also has a year-round lineup of decent sale selection, but they recently added an extra 40% off for this weekend

most of their selection is sneakers (duh), but you’ll also find apparel from a mixture of american, european and japanese streetwear brands. their personal label of SNS clothing is also heavily discounted but shouldn’t be passed up. i was personally impressed by a few of their pieces in their venice (LA) store and told myself that I would buy some stuff at half off or less

i guess today is that day, full sale selection here

sns sale selections

126 - Needles Jacket (S - L)

84 - Salomon ELMT (8 - 13)

94 - Maharishi Pullover (S - M)

112 - Maharishi Snopants (S - XL)

83 - Salomon ACS Pro (5 - 7, 10)

58 - SNS jean (28 - 38)

i personally really enjoy visiting retailers like these when traveling.

(pro-tip: asking the workers in these stores for local recommendations is an easy way to get a feel for the city scene)

even if most streetwear/menswear outlets carry similar brands, it’s exciting to see how their selection and community reflect the ethos of each storefront. likewise, a well designed online shop + a decent sale can also create that same feeling
