the dover street sale is a biannual event, spanning internationally across retailers with two online platforms that ship to the us

if you can’t spare a weekend trip to the arts district or didn’t plan your tokyo trip to coincide this sale, that means we’ll be scraping what’s left of the online storefront, a mix of high fashion at half price, and sneakers cheap enough to neglectfully acquire for future use

my pick is usually to try to get some skate-able items or gifts for a future occasion, but there’s always a few standout pieces that are probably worth the updated price tag. whatever the occasion, there’s still plenty to go around, assuming you’re one of the last sizes still available

as always, in store selection will probably be better, but the online store usually offers a 20% extra discount on the final weekend

— which really isn’t that great since 20% off a 60% off item is actually just an extra 8% off the top, but hey 8% of $700 is still like $50 —
